coil building [scrapped]
This is the final picture of my coil pot before i scrapped it. I wasnt happy with the construction of it. The base got too flattened and i wasnt able to fix it. I was trying to go for a tree look and it was getting there but i just wasnt happy with the outcome so i scrapped it.
relief carving
I dont have a final image because of the no phone thing but im happy with the outcome of this peice. its based off avatar the last airbender and that makes me happy. if i were to redo it i would have made the fish better but i wouldnt change much if any of this. the construction wasnt too hard, the only part i struggled with was the circle around the fish because it was wobbly but it came out alright. Overall, i like this piece.
slab with darts
This is my slab with darts, i was trying to make a cup but it wasnt going how i imagined and i ended up scrapping it. if i were to redo this i would have waited for the base to dry a little before attaching the two because as you can tell the corners were getting squished. looking back on it, it looks alright but not great and i didnt want to keep a piece i didnt want. Overall, not my favorite or best.
